No matter where you go, BMW service is expensive. However, I think that European Auto Tech is as reasonable as any of the shops and they do an excellent job of performing the requested services. They seem to thoroughly check out my car and then inform me any potential problem areas for me to decide what I want done. The personal, that I have come in contact with, are very polite and friendly. I definitely recommend them.

European Auto Tech diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me options since the part wasn't readily available. It was back ordered through Phoenix for arrival that same afternoon. Since the task was relatively easy to do, I installed the part myself and saved the cost of the labor. Most places don't give you that option!

Only problem this time was the relaying of time when my car would be done, dropped it off on a Monday was told it would be Thursday, called Thursday to find the time to make arrangements to pick it up and got a sarcastic snicker saying oh no it won't be done today, maybe Friday...for a double wrench service? I felt that there was a lack of communication this time. I'm happy with the work but just remember I'm juggling life for a week with no input on status. I bring my car to your shop all the way from Kolb and Pantano and have spent over five thousand dollars or more easily just last year alone with you.

These guys take great care of my Audi. I had a check engine light for lean fuel trim, which they diagnosed to be vapor leaks. They fixed said leaks and not only is the fuel trim code gone, but my car now runs the best it has since I got it. (I got it used)

Thorough professional service that got to the root cause of the problem, discovered a developing problem and fixed both at the same time, saving me money in the long run. Not the cheapest service in Tucson, but the best when you consider the quality of the work and the warranty plus they use genuine BMW parts - some competitor use cheap knock-off parts!

I was very pleased with everything about my visit. Not only did they fix the problem, and communicate with me via email as I was out of the country, but they also took my car to emissions for me while I was out of town! No extra charge! These guys know VW Vanagons and did an excellent job of diagnosing and completing the repairs I needed. They completed the work promptly, kept me informed along the way and even did a follow up inspection when I had a concern. Both Jeff and John were knowledgeable and clear in explaining what needed to be done. I was experiencing clutch, alternator and emmission issues with my vanagon. They repaired the clutch, adjusted emmissions and installed a new tie rod end. I'm going to need to wait on the alternator repair.

Unexpected alternator failure - who knew that an E39 540 has a water cooled alternator! European Autotech took the time to explain the repair to me - it is more complex than normal - there were no surprises in the end! Prompt and timely service getting me to/from the rental car agency.

Took my MINI in for new brakes, oil change, and inspection. They replaced pads and rotors with OEM parts. The front desk personnel were friendly and professional, however, I would have preferred meeting and talking with the actual mechanic who worked on my vehicle. Overall, a well-run organization.

Have been taking my Porsche 968 to them for three years.

European Auto Tech has always taken care of my repairs over the limit of expectations. I was in there for a broken inside door handle wire and while completing that task they always look for other things as part of their very specific inspections. While the techs were in the door panel they noticed my airbag was missing two screws which did not even look like OEM screws and did not have locking washers. They pointed it to me and just fixed it. " That was the nocking noise I heard from the door and could not figure out what it was. Another company replaced a bad window regulator in the past and did a crappy job for sure. My Audi decided to dump a power steering pump. I brought it to EAT and they promptly replaced it. I have power steering once again. I also brought it in for an oil change, which was done in a timely fashion and they also replaced a few bulbs that had gone out at no extra charge. If you need work done on a German car, you probably won't get better service than these folks.

I would recommend EAT with an astrick.
Your service was very good. I had a problem while "on the road" and limped into your facility. Your team worked with me so I could pick up my VW at a time when your shop was closed.
However, when the diagnosis was made you recommended that I have a fuel injection cleaning service. I felt I was being "up-sold". This is a turn-off. I am new to the Tucson area. I am from Milwaukee. I used an independent VW / Audi service shop in Milwaukee. I had this shop service my VW prior to my trip to AZ. The shop made their recommendations and there was no mention of a fuel injection cleaning (note that the did recommend $2,500.00 of service). Further, I have had no issues that would suggest that I need a fuel injection cleaning service.
The bottom line is that "up-selling" is a turn-off to me. I feel I am being "sold" something that I don't really need.
I also want to tell you that I will review your bill with the Milwaukee shop to ens

We use the BG cleaning products as well as the equipment shown here for the fuel injection service. This is typically what we see when there is no maintenance done for fuel injection systems on direct injection TDIs. The cost of taking the engine partially down to clean system vs. injection service before this occurs is far more costly.
Most customers don?t really notice a difference up to the time they have problems. This is because the deposits occur slowly. After the injection service for direct injection diesels, mostly all of our customers notice a drastic difference in performance.
You were showing 153,699 miles on your car. With that being a fact, I don?t think there is any question that your system is compromised.

Whereas I am overall happy with the quality of work that was done over the holidays, a few items were not fully addressed. For example, I came in with a trouble light on indicating a problem in the charging circuit for my Porsche. The diagnosis was an overcharging alternator. I now have a new alternator but the trouble light still comes on. I get the impression that the problem was not fixed.

Yes it seems like we had an intermittent problem with the charging system. We installed a brand new Bosch alternator. It was not a rebuilt or remanufactured but brand new. All was well on our end after the install. It was load tested and road tested. After pickup the customer complained that the alternator warning would flash intermittently. Car was then returned for further testing. All car related parts, grounds, power supply, connectors were normal and solid. The problem was that the new alternator that we installed had a problem communicating with the DME ? engine control unit. We replaced with another new alternator. The car was put through many drive cycles and test driven over 100 miles to insure a fix. The customer was called back after he had driven the car for a few days. He said all was well.

I'm disappointed that some of the noise on idle is still there and that again oil was spilled on the underbody and dripped on the garage floor from the oil change.

We brought the car back in for a look and see. The vibration that is there is not from work that was done. The customer wants to replace an axle himself which may be related to vibration. Car wasn't ready at the end of day, after was told it needed rear brakes. We needed the car back that day. So now have to make another appointment and hopfully will have the parts.

I am a consistent BMW owner, and have been to several independent shops around town. After evaluating my experiences, I do prefer to take my business to your shop. I am always pleased with the quality of work that is performed at European Auto Tech; however, I do have some observations regarding my experience as well. I do feel that the labor charges I have incurred at your business have been a little excessive on more than one occasion, additionally, I believe it would be nice to have a little more interaction with the technicians who actually perform the work to get a better understanding of the work performed. All that said, I definitely plan to consider European Auto Tech for my future service needs.

I have been a client for several years and have received excellent, dependable service from all including; Dana,Linda and Mark. Last year I had my front brakes replaced (Mercedes S430) and they continued to sqeak for months afterward. John gauranteed his work (under warranty) and Mark appropriately replaced the faulty parts at no cost to me. Car wash is a professional touch too! 5 Stars!

John, The exorcism worked. The digital dipstick is still at the full line. You can tell Mark and Jeff that my 3 is no longer possessed. As far as the a/c service, the temperature of the air from the vents is the same as before the service. My e46 has noticably colder air coming out of the vents. I don't know what else can be checked on the a/c but if you can think of anything let's check it the next time.

Visit 2: 5 stars on '84 Porsche 944 repairs. Visit 1: 4 stars for earlier visit/ repairs on '02 M.B. E430 since interior of car was left in greasy- smelling condition (it went away after I cleaned the steering wheel w/ leather cleaner). Excellent service and satisfaction for repairs made.
